Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SmokeLater mobile application (the "App"). SmokeLater is operated by Amir Sidhom ("we", "our", or "us"). Noti Family is the marketing name for the family of apps that includes SmokeLater; it is not a separate legal entity.

By downloading, installing, or using SmokeLater, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are specific to SmokeLater. Other Noti Family apps have their own terms.

Purpose of SmokeLater

SmokeLater is a tracking, delay, and reduction tool for adults who want to reduce smoking or nicotine consumption gradually. Its concept is: Delay. Reduce. Save.

The App lets you log smoking events, increase delay intervals over time, review history and delay progress, estimate avoided smoking and money saved, set a savings goal, use a craving/delay challenge, play "Beat the Wait", use "Distract Me", and receive local reminders.

SmokeLater does not encourage smoking, tell you that it is "time to smoke", provide or sell tobacco or nicotine products, or act as a smoking-cessation programme, clinic, or medical service.

Adult use

SmokeLater is intended for adults. Because the App concerns smoking and nicotine, it is not intended for children or minors. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Health and medical disclaimer

SmokeLater is not a medical device, medical service, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

It provides tracking, behavioral delay tools, and informational estimates. It does not diagnose nicotine dependence, treat addiction, or claim to cure nicotine dependence.

Delaying or reducing smoking is not a representation that smoking is safe. SmokeLater does not imply that a delayed cigarette, reduced use, or any nicotine product is harmless.

If you have questions about smoking cessation, nicotine dependence, medications, withdrawal, or any health condition, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

No guarantee of results

SmokeLater does not guarantee that you will reduce or stop smoking, meet a delay target, save money, or achieve any health, behavioral, or financial outcome. Results vary. You may continue, increase, or return to previous use. The App is a tool you choose to use; it is not a promise of success.

Savings estimates

Avoided-smoking counts and money-saved figures in SmokeLater are estimates. They are calculated from information you supply (such as baseline use and pack price) and from the App's tracking logic.

These figures are not guaranteed financial savings, accounting, tax, or financial advice. Actual spending and consumption can differ.

User responsibility

You are responsible for how you use SmokeLater, including the accuracy of information you enter, your notification and privacy settings, and any decisions you make about smoking, nicotine, health, or spending.

Core logs and settings currently remain on your device. You are responsible for the device, backups, and who can access it.

Advertising

The free version of SmokeLater may display advertising supplied by third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob.

Ads depend on availability, region, consent and privacy choices, and provider policies. We do not promise specific ads, specific rewards, specific revenue behavior, or that ads will be personalized or non-personalized in all circumstances.

Where required by applicable law, privacy and consent choices may be presented through Google's User Messaging Platform. Advertising is requested only when that framework reports that ads may be requested. Non-personalized advertising, where used, does not replace consent where consent is required.

Our collection and use of information is described in the SmokeLater Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

SmokeLater, including its name, branding, and the App content we create, is owned by us or our licensors. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except where applicable law allows.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse SmokeLater, including by attempting to disrupt the App, interfere with advertising or consent systems except through provided privacy controls, use the App for unlawful purposes, or use it in a way that is inconsistent with its adult-oriented subject matter.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of SmokeLater at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Platform stores, device settings, and third-party advertising services can also affect how the App works.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmokeLater is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that estimates, reminders, tracking, or other App functions will be accurate, complete, timely, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or health-related outcomes, arising from your use of SmokeLater or reliance on any estimate, reminder, or other information it provides.

Our total liability for any claim relating to SmokeLater will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or zero if you use only a free version.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The current version will be published at this URL. Continued use of SmokeLater after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
